I'm trying to understand! Are you suggesting that it might be valuable simply because the color is different?

Maybe you should take up knitting. Yarn has lots of pretty colors. Lots!

My apologies. I wasn't trying to be a edited and make you feel unwanted. I just have a sense of humor which is a good attribute and attitude to have in life. Everyone who hasn't tried it should.

People on these forums like to "poke" fun at others.. I get you may not have understood that cpm was making a joke. Still, that is no way to respond or handle the situation. Reported.

You should see all the "new" posts from new members asking about their pennies being super rare and worth a fortune as they saw a YouTube video about it. Normally they do not even do any research and just post a picture asking for verification and how much it's worth. Just stick around and watch .... it seems non-stop lately and I don't even track Penny/Cent stuff.

Numistmatics is all about learning how to identify and learning about the coins in general. PMD - or damage occurs for varieties of reasons that one can just think about. Pennies of older vintage are made of more copper. Newer ones of less copper. They get scraped, damaged, and worn like crazy. Self-learning is the key here by comparison and reading.
