This thing is in pretty bad shape, I got it at a casino last week. What do y'all think? On the "America" pretty heavy and several other places (top of right wing). It is not a very pretty coin but it's an interesting one for sure.

    Strike doubling, unfortunately.

Crazy, that's the most doubling that I've come across so far that is actually raised doubling instead of indented doubling. It's pretty cool though yeah? All the other machine doubling I've come across were inwards instead of raised upward. Hope that makes sense. LoL

Thanks though, good to know. I think I'll still keep this one though since it's my birth year ;)

This is fairly common on such coins if I recall correctly, but it does make for a fine example of said doubling as well as an excellent learning tool.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by the "inwards vs. upwards" thing, but could very well be my fault. :)

The Obverse shows a Misaligned Die Strike.

By inwards and upwards (horrible choice of wording) I mean like it's a lump as apposed to an indention.
