If you are an old man you really should update your age in your profile.

One of mine died at 39 - long before I was born. I expect to live 60 years longer than he.

It's not a matter of opinion whether or not they are bullion. Being factually correct is important, when someones opinion is factually wrong it needs to be corrected

Just a question mind you, but does that include yours about PCGS, and or the TPGs in general ?

And just for the record, I consider all forms of the ASE, AGE, and APE to be bullion. Some is bullion made for collectors but bullion just the same. And by the way, so does the law that allows them to be minted.

Palladium eagles don't count .. because I say they don't hahahahaha

The argument for Eagles can be made that they are bullion.

But then, one can also argue that, for instance, early commemorative halves are bullion coins too. Though those would have been used as currency more frequently than current Eagles, which can and have been used as currency. Of course, overtime the value of PMs have separated the coinage to the bullion coins.

One can make arguments all over the place dependent upon their timeline and ideology.

For instance, why would APMEX sell a 1996 ASE BU for $90, current price? So much for "bullion only."

I always heard and use the term "Numismatic Bullion".

It certainly includes yours about the TPGs/grading which many members point out to you in those treads.

If you consider them bullion then you are wrong as well. Bullion trades around spot, it is sold at a standard premium of slightly over spot not around 3x plus of spot. They aren't sold as bullion nor are they traded as bullion in the market place. The only reason why some keep insisting on calling them that is because they're silver. Numismatic bullion is an acceptable term as a catch all for the numismatic silver collector products. Plenty of people would be happy to buy all the numismatic versions you guys have since you think they're just bullion at spot plus $3 which is more than fair for a bullion sale.

If you have been watching what goes on in academia, the movement is to do away with free thinking; some schools are going so far as to condemn gender specific pronouns. A representative of this sort of groupthink said on TV Friday night that Manhattan was offensive to many, and the name should be banned.

With that in mind, the poster above who posed that 2 + 2 = 5 might be surprised to know that getting the math right isn't important anymore... you just need some idea as to how the process works.

Unfortunately I know far more than I wish I did about that creative math movement or whatever they wanted to call it where the final answer was the least important part of the grade

I think the platinum design is awesome, the silver eagle face could stand a change but not the reverse. just my opinion.
