Can somebody help me grade this 1988-p nickel please

    The slightly blurry focus of the reverse photo makes that difficult, but in any event, I'm not the person you wanna ask on grading AU-MS Jefferson nickels.

    That looks like it could be MS63-ish... or an AU55-58 "slider". It's hard for me to say, based on those pictures. (And might, I confess, be hard for me even with the coin in hand.)

    5 cents. 1986 AU-58
    No offense but coins like this don't need grades, either put it in an album or spend it. It will still be worth 5 cents in 20 years. They made over half a billion of these coins. And yes, technically if it is MS it has value, but a dealer isn't buying it.

    No offense but there’s nothing with asking this question. You’re right...this coin won’t ever have any value but that doesn’t mean it can’t be a good tool to be used to learn from.
