These are UNC prices, proof stuff..harder to gauge. Don't believe the prices? PM me and I will give you the dealer to buy it from very close to these levels.

 

bullion gold

i would not rather buy the one you recommend. it is only a bullion american eagle gold. while i like are the 2006 and 2007 with (w) mint mark. these are bullion and at the same time attached with numismatic value. it can be double and triple years to come. mintages were low. these also applied to (w) mint mark american eagle silver uncirculated bullion coins. they can fly high like an eagle. while your bullion gold will only based on gold up and down.

2007 unc am eagle gold

2007 unc american eagle gold 1/4 ounce at a low mintage of 14,000. try to buy some. only a month and a half left. buy from dealer's only. my good recommendation.

 

Weren't you just arguing up and down a week ago in favor of the "W" over the bullion coin, and now you're recommending to buy from a dealer only? I'm confused -- they only sell the bullion version.

because that is the only lowest by far for unc am eagle bullion issue. dealer's have that and they are protecting the mintage as low as possible. keep it 14,000 for such a long period. after next year. that gold coin might up over 100%.

Being that the unc version of the 1/4 gold eagle are no longer being sold by the mint. Would the Proof version of the same coin, with a similar mintage of max 16,000, become a key date as well??

I thought that these were simply Bullion. And that thier value was directly tied to the market price for gold??

I am quickly glancing at some price guides that I have handy, and regardless of mintage figures and year, the 1/4 gold eagle are all based on the direct price of the gold itself.

Am I missing something??

when does mint renew its american eagle gold unc (w) series?. it's been a while. and the price of gold went down a lot these few days. why not maintained its old prices and start to offer again to the collectors?.
