Rotated mint marks

    Long time lurker, first time poster. First of all, I'd like to thank you guys for all the info available here, it's really helped me enjoy the hobby more. I havn't been looking for errors all that long, but was wondering, in you're opinions, if there is a premium for rotated M/M on wheat cents. Sorry, no way to take a decent picture, but i have several with moderate but noticable difference between others of the same year and mint. Thanks in advance

    I think you mean RPM's - Repunched Mint Marks

    Well, no, actually. I have cents with a mintmark,some D, more S, that don't appear to be rpm's with a 10x loupe. Just seemingly rotated clockwise about 25 degrees. Again, sorry no pics, just curious. Most conspicous is a 1945-s

    In 1945 the mint marks were hand punched into the working dies. This made the placement of the mm a little different on each die.
