is this copper wheat penny a 194?-- 3?

I found this coin in a penny roll. Fascinating enough, the last number of the date on this wheat copper penny has mysteriously corroded and it is really hard to discern which it could be. Any idea? Of course, I see a #3 , but I must have convinced myself, objectively. On the other hand, although at the mysterious number definitely does strike to be the number 1 at first sight, taking a second look at history, it cannot be so either, as from my own observations, the design of choice for the number "1" in the 1940 was straight and shaped like [l], and this looks more like a [1]", ruling it out, as a result. Could it then be a 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4 2, or a 3? .

It's hard to tell from the pic but IMO it appears to be a one that has took a hit JMO.

Looks like a 1941 that took a hit on the final "1" in the date.

Also at 1941. Something fattened up that 1.

Under higher magnification of the image, it is clear that the last number is a 1 that has been flattened out so much that it has a gross resemblance to a 3

It doesn't matter what it originally was.
