Really nice coin. Are you planning to regrade or keep it raw.

 

That has to be a DDO you need and check it as there's 15 ddo's for that date and mm. And I'm betting it is one...but these tired eyes are done for this day.

 

Its gonna stay raw for a while, I don't see this one changing hands for many years.

 

I saw the DDO just was waiting for someone to point it out. I need some better references for the quarter dollar.

 

I like the grade at 65. Well done on the purchasing.

The gullah in the south make some really good goat curry dishes. You have to travel way out of town to get the real stuff, but its worth it.

Edit: when I first read your post, I wondered where are the scratches...now I get that you meant it was on the holder!

 

Surprised to see this as a 65 from NGC. It's got their 66 look written all over it.

 

I think the patchy toning on the High points, usually scares most away.

 

Two big gouges from the cheek to the eye.
