For a challenge try to fill nickel and clad Whitman albums with your dug coins. I've been working on mine since 1960 and the only ones I have completed are the first Jefferson book and Roosevelt dimes. Missing the key dates for cents, buffalos and mercuries. Livens up a pouch full of spenders.
Mite take me a tad bit longer.I don't know if I've ever seen a coin like these befor,I think I would of remembered one never got into metal detecting, always been interested in it but I assumed the right equipment could be expensive.i sure thought that I had something goes to show can' t put a value on experience once again thanks for the info.To me it looks like the silver is gone viewed with a glass I can see little silver particles stuck on the coin,by the way would you know what exactly would cause that, must be a helluva chem process amazing stuff. Again much appreciated you have good day.

Any way thanks I hope I didn' affened anybody.good day.
