I dont havea scan of it, but would a 50$ 2001 series bill with a serial number which has "7777" in it be worth more then face?
i'd spend it. here is a website by the way that gives a pretty good reference of what cool serial numbers to keep. keep looking!
well, What would make it worth keeping? Just trying to learn. Still wont be spent until we go down to the states.
i wouldnt keep it myself. there are peeps who look to notes like the one u asked about as being lucky. but IMO its all hogwash its worth about $50, and in a few years it would be worth about $50
A good question loaded with possible answers. Currency collectors are a different breed Zabb. If that serial number was 00777700 it would be a keeper for example as it would be a radar. A radar is a note that has a serial number that reads the same forward as backward. Some might keep that note if it were a $1 instead of a $50 because they like 7s and it's easier to tuck aside a dollar than it is 50. Currency can get expensive. Also if the serial number were CE05177770* many people would keep it as it would be known as a star note. Lower printings and tougher to find. A lot of it boils down to individual preference. Keep looking! You're showing that you have a good eye. clembo
collecting curency can get expensive??? i think that on average, the scarcer coins are more expensive the currency
Daggerjohn say's it the way I would...it's worth $50.... It could be a good Liar's poker note though!! RickieB
I'm talking circulation finds her Daggarjon. When you find a wheat it costs you one cent. When you find a $100 star note it costs $100. Take it from a guy that has had to pass up A LOT of good stuff over the years from circulation in favor of doing silly things like eating.
