Well, decided to take another trip to my bank today, and had a pretty nice time. Searched through there money, and was very please. First thing was I found a nice 1963 B Barr note $1 in some nice shape, but that's not the big thing. Was pretty shocked with this one, I found my first Radar note! It is pretty neat, serial is:A53388335B. I'm pretty excited to say the least, and would put it in about VF condition. So I'm happy. Any value to it anyone think? Thought I'd tell ya guys about it, thanks for reading!

Nice note Phoenix! I think you have an extra 5 in the middle. WOuld have been cool if it was a NY note then it would have started and ended in B.

    Nice find!

nice notes! yes, the radar note has a value above face to the right person :) to the others, its worth a buck. I like the Barr note the best myself. It might not be worth much, but i love finding them that old in circulation!!!

and USS656 lol the extra 5 is only in your quote, NOT his post :D

I don't know that convert is the right word. Perhaps expand is a better word.

Not looking to get people away from coins but let them see the beauty and untapped currency market.

I love walking the line between both but I'll tell ya Phoenix21 there is a TON of good currency still to be found in circulation.

    Good eye dude!

Thanks! Sorry, I corrected it. A little type happy, very excited to get this note. :goofer: That would be neat, Rickie would probably be really interested in it then. :D j/k.

Lol, probably, I'd probably just give it to ya though man if you needed it for your set. Not an unc though. Be awesome if it was. :D Thanks, I will tomorrow for you guys! I am slighty interested in paper, got a 57 B silver cert in Crisp unc. condition, taht my dad got me a few years ago when I first got back into the hobby for $5.50. HAs a little extra sentimental value too, so that makes it worth even more. You guys probably will get me into paper, just gotta finish my jeff and VF/XF wheat set. Then I probably will focus on paper a little more. Just post some more pics of Rickie and clembo and I will probably get even more interested. :D ;)

Thanks man! You think so? How much do you think it would be worth about? Not looking to sell it any time soon, just curious on value. I love finding the older notes in circ, found one other Barr note once but it was pretty worn. Not ripped or anything, just worn. Will have to get pics of these two for you guys tomorrow. Thanks man!

Lol. :D You guys will get me, just gonna maybe be a little while. Oh yeah, paper money I think doesn't get the attention it should get by some people, but then again sometimes it does. I love the look of paper money, only problem is I'd like to get some unc. examples really, and that can get pricey. Right Rickie? ;) :D Oh man, do I know it! Finding things in circulation is half the fun in collecting IMO. Thanks!
Thanks all for you comments, and I will try to get pics up tomorrow!
