I'm confused, @Michael K , yours appears to be in response to the first post in this thread. I'm assuming that management may have deleted a few that were before yours, or would I be wrong about that? The poll makes no sense to me, and photos would make sense, though.

Edit: It appears as if the first post here must have been moved; my bad.

I would find it hard to believe that one of the major TPGs would do the proverbial "bait and switch". They already do many millions of dollars in business and getting caught doing this would be the end of their business. I take pictures of the coins I send to get graded and slabbed for insurance purposes (whether that would do any good or not if they were lost or stolen).

  4. thank you for replying if you have zoom you can see pin mark on the case and they are not heat crack or any natural it was man made damage. shown other grading companies and they agree what they are ,i can tell the difference thank you

It actually matters a lot which coin is which. Your explanation doesn’t help very much. Also, try taking a picture of the entire coin. Those close up pictures don’t really show anything obvious and I still can’t tell which are before and after. As of now, I have no reason to believe that ANACS is switching coins...

None were deleted but I did merge posts made in 3 different threads into this single thread. That is what is causing some of the discontinuity.

From my perspective here, the quality of the images make it impossible to do any competent comparison. The best approach would be to label each photo as before and after and show each coin in an identical frame of reference.

  10. pic 264 is before pic 261 is after ,253 miss print before 254 pic after .pics 228 before pic 210 after thank you

You should copy and paste the photos directly to the text.

It would be better if you post the before and after pictures one after another to make comparing easier. Right now, it's confusing as to which one is which, and the photos are all cluttered without any organization.

Something like this below will make it easier to see what you're saying, not that it's the correct order...

Some of these images look to be scans from some book. None of the images posted to this point can be compared. I'm starting to think the OP is just here playing games.

If this is true, you should be talking to an authority regarding it, instead of allegations in public.
    Think about it.
You have poor evidence. Low grade photos which you claim to be before and after
pics. Would you expect that to hold up even in small claims court?
If you really feel suspicious, try it again, but get professional photos, witnesses and local professional s to testify on whether the coins are your originals.
If you are right, you wont have to come here making wacky claims. You will be in the headlines, and we all will know about you.
Right now though, you are headed for a lawsuit.

    Jim,

If you are going to continue with this, I suggest you find someone locally who is knowledgeable about coins (dealer or club member) and show them the before pictures and the coins. If you take the pictures and coins to a mid- to large-size show, you can get lots of informed opinions. If they are convinced, then continue in a more public forum with their aid. You are not succeeding here by being your own advocate. Your arguments and evidence so far look suspiciously like a troll.

ANACS often has a booth at larger shows. If you show them the evidence and are polite, I'm sure if it's credible, they will take it seriously.

No, they're photographs of an image displayed on a computer screen.

I don't see any differences that can't be due to different lighting, different orientations, and hopelessly blurry photos.

I have no idea what the OP is talking about with "marks on the case". It's almost as though he's suggesting that ANACS slabbed his original coin, pried that slab open, swapped the coin, and put a different coin back into the same slab.

I fear the gulf of understanding here is just too wide. I don't know how to bridge it.

Or, as @calcol and @ldhair suggested, maybe "bridge" is the key insight.

if the 0% chance they did this happened, pictures don't prove anything.

I can take a picture of any coin I want before sending in any other coin I want.

And just how did you show these images to all these grading services?

I would never let another person know what I was sending. Did you send them Registered Mail? Registered has the paper tape that is stamped, so that they can tell if it has been tampered with. I have sent nearly 1,000 coins to ANACS, and although I'm not always happy with the grades I receive, I know that the coins I got back were the ones I sent. It would be suicide for a company to switch coins out. It would be found out.
