Italian States. Genoa. AR 2 Scudi. 1676. 78g. VF. Scarce. Obv: Madonna and child. Rev: Cross surrounded by cherubs. A huge silver coin issued by the state of Genoa. The weightage system conforms to the average crown but unlike other issues, their weight and size doubles accordingly as illustrated in comparison to my palm.

I'm not sure which bothers me more: the complete disregard for significant figures or the mention of melt value for a coin like this. SPECIFICATIONS Composition: Silver Fineness: 0.8890 Weight: 76.0000g ASW: 2.17223142090118oz Melt Value: $35.60 (2/10/2018)
You'r welcome.. Actually even the NGC prices are but a reference.. they may also vary according to auctions
That's a tremendous piece of history and numismatic art. Like Doug, I'm mystified that anyone would even think about the melt value of such a thing.
