I`m out until 1687

 

I can keep it going until 1670 solid - then it gets very patchy with only a dozen or so after that back to 1562 - when I run out.

 

Looks like I have one 1678, another 1644, and a 1519. After that they do not qualify due to not having actual year number "dates" on them.

British Sixpence 1703 with the famous "VIGO" logo:

 

The "VIGO" was new to me, so of course I looked it up online and found:

"The VIGO indicated that the coin was minted from silver seized from Spanish ships in Vigo Bay during the War of the Spanish Succession."

This is the other year for which VIGO coins are issued and as @coin_nut has said, this was after the capture of Silver from the Spanish in Vigo bay. Isaac Newton was the Master of the Mint at the time and ordered the use of the word Vigo on the coins, although in fact the bulk of the silver did not actually come from the battle. An early PR exercise!

Best I have for 1701 is this threepence, and this moves us into the reign of William III, formerly William of Orange and by this time the widower of Mary II, the last of the Stuarts. Depending on your viewpoint he is most famous or infamous in Ireland for the Battle of the Boyne.

 

Anne was the last of the Stuarts. Wasn't she?
