Found this at work

Just curious what is up with this 2015 JFK dollar coin, and why it appears to be silver. Any answers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It's a $1 Presidential dollar, they are original a golden color but it seems you're has been plated, post mint damage.

 

Can you post an image of the reverse? I'm not sure if it is a Prez dollar. The diameter looks slightly larger than a typical Prez dollar.

Thank you. This is the back side. It's definitely a dollar coin, just not sure why it's silver.

 

It looks like it’s been played, a common product of those tv pitchmen selling coins at 3am.
