    To be honest I think I'm gonna let some of the guys that have alot more experience than I do chime in on this one.
    If I was to take a guess which is what I'm doing I would say strike though or lamination error but that just a guess sorry I wasn't much help.

    It isn't worth more than a nickel....lamination error on a nickel that has seen a lot of use,as well environmental damage.

    I agree. Lamination error on the Obverse.
    Nice one but nothing major.
