If you really ARE interested in a legal tender coin, keep an eye on Liberia's offerings. They tend to do coins of living and current U.S. Presidents more than almost anyone else. It wasn't JUST Obama for them. They tend to do them generally.
No, I don't need legal tender, just a real .999 fine silver coin or round featuring him. I dont care what country or company aslong as it is an ounce and all silver
@JCro57 here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/2017-Donal...933384&hash=item1ed71158ed:g:QdAAAOSwWHBaTlgw That's the one I have. It's fairly well done.
The coin I posted in the third post is legal tender -nifc. The only legitimacy question is whether you consider a Equatorial Guinea a real nation. Equatorial Guinea has a 1 in 7 child mortality rate while it experiences the largest division of wealth in the entire world.
Of course it is. You may well emphasize that those Equatorial Guinea silver and gold coins are not made for circulation - fully agreed. In fact, many of these collector coins do not even make it to the issuing country. Maybe some of the confusion here could have been avoided if the topic title did not include the word "coin". Later I learned that the OP would be perfectly happy with a medal too as long as it meets the other requirements he specified. So I suppose Equatorial Guinea, Liberia and the like are no longer an issue here ... Christian
Yeah, it's my only colorized "coin". I just like the guy, and there are several designs from China that cost almost nothing. What the hay, right?
Little bit of acetone should get rid of that unwanted stuff on the obverse. It would take a lot more acetone to do the same for the actual government.
Now that Trump is in office I am beginning to think that the Obama rounds which I bought for about spot in 2008 will be worth a lot more than I thought.
