So I was bored in one of my Clinical research classes today and I saw @jtlee321 post his new Morgan (which I've almost never been so jealous :banhappy:) and as always goo pictures were awesome. So I played with some cropping software and collage makers to make a parody for my own photos even though they are nowhere near as good.

So I thought the name was a funny Tribute:happy:

I like it!! You can read a lot about the coin through those images. So much better than a large majority of the images on eBay. I like the font choice as well. :)

Thank you :) I think it makes a fun little side project for when I can't buy coins.

I'll post a few more that I worked a little harder on. I just did that in class and I want to do something for that teal Morgan I bought a little while back :)

I can't wait to see it! I just bought another Morgan. It's blast white though, and I believe it's undergraded. I'll be doing a GTG here soon, see what others think.

Alright so I ran into a few problems @jtlee321 lol

    1. Reflection from the slab is really hard to avoid while getting the right color.
    2. Avoiding slab scratches is hard
    3. Replicating real color requires better software

The first is both my photos with no tampering except brightness and I saturated the colors 5-10 percent to better represent the "true view".

The second one I used the sellers reverse but I tried to grayscale it a little too help tone down the color because they soaked it lol

I don't think mine look as nice but I feel better about the coins representation. And I feel a little more proud/honest of my work :)

@LuxUnit , IMO, your latest Morgan picture is a much truer image of the reverse toning. I'm just guessing, but the seller reverse photos looked "juiced" and I'd be wary.

Nice job. I'm going to venture down this same path very soon. I have the cropping software and collage software ready to go. Now all I need is my dino lite photo kit.

Thank you :) I'm doing all this with just a homemade kit and phone apps so I'm really proud of it d: jtlee has been really encouraging too!
