I have wanted one of these for 2 years!

    I saw this pop up on vcoins 2 days ago. I thought about it for 2 days and finally bought it. It is by far the most expensive coin I have ever bought. I will eagerly be awaiting its arrival.

    Here it is...a KOSON stater.:woot::D:eek:

    I know there i some argument about this coin concerning Brutus and the meaning of KOSON. Whatever the truth I think it is a stunning coin. What I loved about this example is that although it was graded by NGC I do not have to break it out of its slab, it was already done for me.

    Please post coins of Brutus, gold coins, or anything else you think is related.

    Thanks for the links Jay. I had read those before and must admit I come down on the side that believes these were minted by Brutus. The metallurgical evidence is particularly convincing imho.

    That is an amazing coin @Orfew Congrats on such a fine acquisition. If i had a coin like that i would probably sit and admire it in hand on a daily basis. Same goes for your coin Jay.
