1999 d lmc

    Ok so I've got some die chip coins and a nice cud lmc. I understand that these have raised areas either within the perimeter (chip) of the coin or along the rim (cud). What about an indention or missing part of the coin/image, is this a form of lamination error? The coin in question is below and it does not appear to be pmd, I see no copper plate cracking around the area or shiny zinc poking through. Its just missing a chunk of column, Appreciate all your help.
