    Well, take your total income for the month and buy coin rolls at the bank. Keep what is worthy, take the coins back to the bank. Go home. Pay your bills..,

    @Randy Adams for further information: The mint changed from all copper to the zinc core cent in 1982. Half of the 1982 cents will be copper and weigh 3.1 g the other half will weigh 2.5 g. This is a normal weight, as others have stated.
