    I agree! beats getting clothes:inpain:!
    I know all reference books tell us that this was a Bistum=Bishopric. However on coins legend it clearly states "Cardinal".

    Honestly, I think it's your wife that's more beautiful than all of the coins that you own. WOW!

    On side note - is it just me that the 1883 Hawaiian crest kinda resemble it in a sense?

    It is similar in that the top left and bottom right are the same, the top right and bottom left are the same, and the center is different. The overall shape is similar but different - but both are standard shield shapes in heraldry.

    Other than that, there is absolutely nothing similar about this. In heraldry, and especially coin design, the patterns used (dotted field, diagonal lines, horizontal lines, vertical lines, etc.) each represent a color. Interpreting the colors on the different coin designs, they would look absolutely nothing alike.
