I have been anxiously awaiting for the arrival of this beauty. I was so excited to see it come up for bidding on eBay. I have not seen one in the old NGC holder's come up for sale anywhere in a very long time. I knew I had to have it and was willing to pay up for it. I was very happy with the price that it ended at however. Let me know what you think of it?
The holder sucked me in.. I don't know why I have this sickness for these old holders with the gold embossed logo. I just love them though. I need to get a 2.1 and 2.0 still.
Wait. You're collecting the holder and not the coin? How dare you collect what you like! Hehe. Very nice pick up, and exquisite photos as usual. These MS Buffalo nickels sure love to tone gold, don't they?
LOL. I love both. The '13 T1 is a favorite of mine, ranked up there with the '38-D. It seems they are tougher to find with outstanding eye appeal. The '38-D's are much easier to find. But as soon as I saw this '13 T1 in my favorite holder, it was game over, I HAD to have it. The gold tone is not as strong as some, it's more of a champagne color. I'm going to have to go count. I have never counted them, I just let them run free. LOL.
"...The '13 T1 is a favorite ofmine. But as soon as I saw this '13 T1 in my favorite holder, it was game over, I HAD to have it. ..." And I can understand why. Absolutely a beautiful design and a beautiful coin!
Someone took care of that holder. I see a lot of those holders with the embossed label partially removed. Nice coin, too.
I had to look at that buffalo shain. Justin, did you notice the reverse die crack between 4 and 5 o'clock? I just noticed it. Right through the hind leg. Sweet!!
Why yes I did!! I am happy someone spotted it, I was waiting to see if anyone did. It's a fractured right rear leg. I always love it when something adds a little more interest to a coin.
