...I will guess a modest premium over sheet (could have been more if photos were enhanced).

That's what I was referring to when I mentioned that some sellers don't know what they have. If you look at watchcount, the seller accepted the offer within a few hours of listing the coin. Some buyer certainly risked a score over $5 off!

    Per watchcount:
Start Time: Thursday, 18-Jan-18 20:58:27 UTC
End Time: Thursday, 18-Jan-18 22:51:26 UTC

Lol it's kind of funny how some people will see a great deal and still try and get an even better one.

I've seen it a few times. The last one was a doily Morgan that was $60 or best offer that had two pending offers when I clicked buy-it-now! :p

I saw that. I was shocked... As I would have hit that BIN button in a heart beat had I came across it. Plus I know the seller and he is local to me. I wish I knew about it before he sold it. LOL

Is it wrong that I secretly enjoy when someone snags it from those types that just always want to haggle no matter what

Not at all. I'd laugh all day long if I did that. Maybe it will teach them to take a gift when it's presented to them. The old saying "You snooze, you lose" is so fitting.

I also saw that happen recently with a Compugrade sample. It was listed for $100 and the seller accepted a $75 offer within a few hours. I would have clicked the BIN button but happened to not be searching ebay that day. :(

To top it off, when I asked the seller if he had any more, he happily announced how he made a score by buying the Compugrade for $3 and flipping it for $75 in a few hours ...if only he had waited or auctioned it, the price would have been much higher. :banghead:

Here's one. It's an oldie but a goodie.

It's an ANACS Photo Cert from 1981 for a 1939 Mercury Dime graded MS-65. What did I pay for it?

    $50

Cool example! The holders I’m pretty certain are made by someone else as I’ve seen NCI photo certificates housed in them.
