I have an aerial view taken from a hot air balloon of Constantine's ancient Rome with his famous looking to the heavens coin.
The poster is rare. It was made by a collector of gorgoneion types and it is made up of coins from his collection plus museum coins. The collector later sold his coins. I was able to acquire a few and wish I had been more bold.
Printed in 1971, the Record of the Parthian Coinage wall chart, with all illustrations by David Sellwood. It's been keeping me company in my studio for years.
One one wall I have an old large (exposed area 19"x26") photo (not taken by me) of Constantine's Arch near the Coliseum, a National Geographic map of the ancient world, a National Geographic map of the middle east (modern boundaries), and an outline map of the ancient cities of Sicily. That I can see from my desk. Far more important is this, which I can reach from my desk.
I have this desk companion made to scale, and lots of nearby shelves that bear a striking resemblance in content to @Valentinian shelves.
