Curious- I’ve had this penny for over 15+ years. From time to time I look at old coins trying to make out what coin is imprinted on this penny? There is a different imprint on the front and on the back. I can make out leaves on the back. Any thoughts?

    It's just a damaged cent.

Definitely not a coin. Possibly some sort of lock washer or locking nut

It does not matter how long you have had it or who gave it to you... it is damaged.
