Why do you insist upon doing this? First you categorically state that "they" (the same photo of the same coin) ARE doubled dies (plural), yet turn around and suggest someone likely new to this niche try to match her coins to Wexler's listings without providing the slightest details or assistance beyond a link intended for the familiar. If you've taken the time to factually match it to a known variety, why not simply share the fruits of your labor, or at least point out exactly what you're seeing?

It's simply incredible how many coins shared here magically just happen to be "varieties". The bruise grows darker by the day.

Great looking coins! And I'm for sure no expert but I say good for you for opening the roll. You've just inspired me to go through another roll of mine! And I think your pics are great!

Thanks for all the kudos about opening them. I really don't regret it. It was very exciting to see them, although here are still several that are actually stuck in the coin roll... Any suggestions?

Anyone think that there are any here worth sending in?

    Only if you have FS-101 ( 022.2 ) or FS-104 ( 022.3 ) .
A red MS-66 without these DDOs, is only worth 32 bucks .

Your coins have NEVER been in general circulation or touched by the public. As such from what I see these coins would can all be concidered MS coins. Some are a little beat up with bag marks but I see no Friction/Rub evidence on any of the images. Nice coins! All my keepers are Brownies but that’s what I collect! Here’s a few I’ve collected from rolls lately. I’m enjoying mine I hope you do the same.
    Sincerely
    Reed.

What about here, is this anything out of the ordinary and if so what makes it happen? Just looks different in that area.

Thanks all for the comments and help. Have a good night.

    Goodnight,
    Rachel

I agree. It's getting old. 99% of the time it's nothing. Why give the OP false hope that they have something special? Not a cool thing to be doing.

And I fear this is just another example of what you described. Two days and counting without even a peep...

I can respect the desire to be the forum "variety guy", but just like the other member who had a bad habit of stealing DLRC photos, running them through photoshop autocorrect, and claiming different holders before trying to pass them off as newps all in order to look the "expert" big shot collector, this nonsense does more harm than good imo.

Wanting to help others is certainly a noble endeavor, but misleading and/or misinforming for selfish reasons is anything but helpful to the individual, this forum, or the hobby as a whole. In the past when this very behavior has been addressed, I've even provided examples of when such misinformation has caused or had the obvious potential to cause harm to other people, yet it has clearly fallen on deaf ears. I had hoped it would appeal to someone's sensibilities, yet it appears that my expectations of this individual were set way too high. Either more of the knowledgeable folks are going to have to start calling BS, or we're going to have to live with a ridiculously unnecessary and self-inflicted black eye.

Couple of the coins do look like they might have some pillar doubled looks going but I can't be sure so I feel like it's best to just tell myself that they aren't and move on.

    ;)

I would have definitely opened them! Of course, I'm the kind of guy that can't open a bag of chips without 90% of them flying through the air. I have the dexterity of a panda bear.

This is beside the OP’s point but I think your Avatar got out of the box and is causing havoc! Lol.
