Anyone pick any rolls up yet? I'm thinking of stopping at the bank tomorrow after work and getting a roll or 2. Any interesting errors yet?

Went to the bank I usually get rolls from.. they didn't have them yet...

 

I've been through $1,000 worth with another 1000 to go. Nothing interesting yet. only a few strike through grease reverses...

 

I have picked up two rolls from the same bank and both were really poor, only a couple decent coins from each roll. They are mostly dark and really spotty. It's sad when they come fresh from the mint looking like they have been in circulation for a few months.

I will get a roll or two from a different bank and hope they look better.

 

There are missing edge lettering Jeffersons. Nearly impossible to find. The mint director suspects only 200 errors according to the Associated Press.

 

Ive picked up about $200 worth so far. I searched a couple but sold the rest.

i went to my bank for $1000.00. but they did not have it yet. i noticed the jefferson was the most widely distributed and on time.

 

Some of the Banks are not getting the Madison because they had to many Jeffersons left over

 

I got 2 rolls a few days ago. Both Denver, which was odd. I always got Philadelphia first.

 

What kind of roll can hold a Morgan dollar?

if you ask for large dollars and they give you a roll or loose, silver dollars can be found.

 

notified yesterday that my 2 mint rolls were shipped, 1D & 1P, I know you guys think I should get them at the bank but look at the comments about the quality, above, I have never had a serious quality issue on items direct from the mint.

 

It wasn't in a roll...I went to a bank and asked for large dollars, at which point the girl presented me with 9 Eisenhowers and a Morgan, which i obviously bought....for a dollar.:goofer:
