I thought this was a Doubled Die for a moment... Then I noticed it's just a blurry picture :wacky:

I think the humming bird one is kinda cool! I figure I would let my grandson take them to school for SS, Just wanted to make sure there was nothing in the lot that would matter if lost or stolen.

More like $0.005. There was a 1000:1 remonetization in 1992.

    100 Mexican Peso equals
    5.412 US Dollar

Is that a half a dollar?

I don't think so, but check the British Florin, centre top of the first picture. If it is dated 1946 or earlier it will be 50% silver. Also the French 10 Francs a few to the right of it - if it is dated 1939 or earlier it will be 68% silver.
Can't see anything else with bullion value, but plenty that would keep a new collector entertained.

    CURRENT Peso equals 5.41 cents
The older peso equals 0.00541 cents
100 older pesos equals 0.541 cents, or bit over a half a cent.

I should post mine too...have a lot that I can't figure out what country it's from lol. Some probably have the dates in native language. I tried searching google matching images but it's not really that accurate.

Without delving too far into the realm of politics, I wonder if the U.S.-Mexican situation might devalue Mexican pesos ?
