2015 Philadelphia New Photos

Hi Everyone,
I worked on the old thinkbox, working now.I hope the pictures improved.My microscope wont capture the entire cent so those picture will be done on my phone.You can see the full cent on my last post.

It would have been better if you had posted these images with the earlier thread. However, I can't tell if there is any doubling. It looks like an artifact of the lighting.

This cent has has alot of shine (Like proof coin shine) even in low light.
Working to improve this.

That darn smoke and those mirrors! They tricked my eyes.

 

You need to make a templet like this .

Then you can get your coin to lay - +plumb or - + level too .

 

Here a couple of images of LIBERTY using that templet .

 

Guessing doubled. On the date. Face would help also

Hi everyone,
Didn't have much time today but I wanted to post these new and hopefully improved photos (working on that) .I still have to photograph more of this cent.

The latest cherrypicker came out in the end of 2015 and that why number #6 wasn't in it . It will be in the next cherrypickers that comes out .

That's a great buy.Thanks for the Wexler's 2015 die varieties link.I compared and my date kind of looks like WDDO-005. And Liberty it seems to me like my cent doubles more extreme to the east than any of the examples.Your thoughts? Thanks McCann .

 

It's not #5 and here's why .
I'm going to use the " R " of LIBERTY for matching .
Here's what the the inside of the " R " looks like on #5 .


Now, here's what the the inside of the " R " looks like on yours .


Now lets take a look at #22 .


Now lets look at your .


Looks like a match .

Now, just to make sure it's the one .
There's Die Trails coming off of the date and lets make sure yours
( Date ) has them .


Make sure you check your Date, for the Trails ..

How do they make the penny look like that? It looks like the finish is stripped off. I looked back on this thread at the date and it looks like trails but I want to take a better picture.Thanks. lf you can,please take a look at the new picture of my 1982 the one with the columns down to one cent.You can make out Lincoln in his chair.

I went in the setting on my scope and turned down the saturation .
Color too ..

 

I will try that.Will post when I take a decent picture.
