I was waiting until ebay gave me an extra ebay bucks promo, but after waiting a couple weeks, I decided to go ahead and pull the trigger. Well, literally the very next day, ebay gave me a 6% bucks promo! haha. That would have helped save a bit too.

I started a thread on the pcgs forum asking if anyone else had any offers lately, and they all convinced me they didn't give them in the month that they give the ebay bucks certificate, so I went ahead and spent it. Then they all reported getting one, and I did too. Just dumb luck I guess.

 

I saw that thread. My personal feeling is that they hold back the offers as long as you have substantial eBay bucks waiting to be used. I don’t believe they want you earning bonuses off the free money

 

I paid $616.99, which is less than $80 over melt value! I also used $500 ebay bucks on it, so was out of pocket a little over a hundred bucks! If I would have waited another day and gotten 6% ebay bucks extra, it would have been even more incredible.

 

Something like just shy of $800 dollars Australian.

The photo of the obverse is a little juiced. Those colors can only be seen when tilting the coin on angle. The reverse photo is relatively accurate. The photo of the obverse in the holder is a little darker than the coin in hand.
