Frank. I care I like the Canadian cent and our Lincoln cent , what the U.S. needs to do is follow Canada and do away with our paper money. At least that is the way it seems to me good friend Bruce.
It's going to be the other way around. The US will never lead the way on this one. They can't get the public to use the $1 coin, what makes you think they'll convince the people to get rid of the penny? Canada will eliminate it first. The US will follow.
Agreed, the Canadians already got rid of their dollar and 2 dollar bills. US still love their old paper bills.
Okay, I concede. Canada is better than the US. They have a more valuable $. They have a better $ coin. They got rid of the $ bill. They have Mounties. They have tons of snow & moose & cold. I give up. I'll be moving there shortly. (Yeah right.).
Go to the Canadian Mint's website. They have posted the most recent study on whether or not to eliminate the cent. After reading it, I'm still not sure if they plan on doing it or not.
Wow! a bit harsh there weren't you? Now strip down to your Maple Leaf boxers, stand on your left foot and sing "O Canada" in a snow drift. That might make Canadians respect you again. LMAO
No doubt that I am wrong. Actually I do admire Canada, they have a lot of stuff that we are lacking. Like a sense of what countries to attack. (none). A strong dollar. A good reputation in the world. Oh well, now if they would only get rid of that snow, I'd consider moving there.
Don't forget we have public healthcare. And upstate NY actually gets more snow than Toronto (for example), so there's still hope for you. Let me know when we should help you load up the truck.
We'll even let you come back for REAL HEALTH CARE when your not getting your monies worth from your FREE HEALTH CARE....LOL
They have tons of minerals gold , silver, platinum, oil, nat gas and diamond mines near the artic which I never knew about til I saw that show about the trucks that run on the ice to bring them supplies:smile
