I just don't know who is reputable to buy from. And some of you can save the dumb political comments. My original post was not political. No one cares how you feel about him.
Lol. I’m going to assume it was Mayer who minted it with CIT involved. Them, Poobjoy, and Perth basically have the whole market for these off country products anyway and I doubt CIT is working with either of them
Well, then there's this on eBay -- an apparent Liberty Dollar, one ounce of "fine silver" with His Likeness and an assortment of phrases of varying plausibility. Edit: face value $25, or maybe a billion, depending on who's asking...
Don't know, don't care. I like the fellow, but not enough to have his image stamped, inscribed, minted, stamped, upon a token or a coin. It's the 'hair'. How does one deal with that hair?
I like your coin. It reminds me of the "Bullhead" George IV shilings of the late 1810's-1820's. I've bought a few, they have great eye appeal. Trump is the new bull head!
If and when the time comes, the Mint will need to use an oblong shaped concave coin with orange tone.
Officially I thought living persons weren’t supposed to be depicted on us coinage. Though they’ve changed all that lately. As to the hair it is his trademark and I’m sure there’s coin designers that could do something with that. I mean Lincoln was really ugly and Brenner made him look decent. Most of our presidents weren’t exactly movie stars anyway Ok Reagan was. But you know what I’m saying. I’m more looking forward to the First Lady coin as honestly Melania is gorgeous. And so were his first 2 wives. I don’t collect modern or presidential coinage but I would actually pick up a couple bullion pieces with Trump on them too. It’s no secret I like the guy Maybe they could use Melania in a classic design like the seated liberty coins. Just a thought
Yeah, think of this thread as a self-control test. If you can post in it without earning an infraction, you win. If you avoid posting in it entirely, you win the grand prize.
