    So jealous. Great impulse buy
If I had seen it I would have bought it too. Who doesn't love chunky coins?

It IS a cool coin. Someone else here on CT has one (maybe more someones) and I've always admired the design. Congratulations.

Several someones on CT have the type. Syracuse? Hippocamp? Yes please!

Here's mine, purchased for the pristine hippocamp.

Thanks Peter. The obverse is a little crusty but I liked the hippocamp. I think TIF's is hard to beat.

Yeah, I almost told the wagon on I"m to go do something with itself and put a bid in on that coin. Having to pay for bills sucks. It's very cool, I love the type...glad it has a good home!

I wonder why this coin (and the others that jump out at me) creates the impulse to buy and others don’t.

I have always wanted one of these that has a snake on the helmet rather than the foliage. Anyone have one? Some have plain helmets and many are so worn/corroded you can't tell what was once there.
