1977 Washington Quarter Coneca DDO-001 ?

Just going through some of my change finds from last year .

There's no images to be found and this is a interesting discovery find .
Seems Mr. Wexler either sent images, or the coin to Mr. Wiles .

Theres some cool Die markers on that one too.
Is that a die chip, (eye). And what's going on with his upper lip?

 

I don't know much on this series .
So I took an image .

 

Here's an image of the designers signature .

 

It's worthy of sending for examination.
Cool die polishing lines. The upper lip I think fits the progression. It looks like there might be another progression on the cheek bone.
