Internal metal displacement phenomenon. IMDP. And it's explained with nonsense.

They say that after a die has struck many times something happens to it and causes this. I couldn't understand it myself.

Have you ever seen this and is it the actual haunted Lincoln cent? I looked at a couple and they were awful close except mine is more pronounced on the reverse.

What could it be ? I mean there is o way it is PMD,. And it's not a machine doubling or a ything other than a mistake on the minting process which should make it an error , correct??

It doesn't appear so as I'm looking at the coin. There is something but not a blister. Nothing is raised but there is a very dark spot. Hmmmmmmm. Thank you, I didn't notice it.

I'm no expert by any means but it appeared to me that he had an extra beard.

I'm looking at it under 50X magnification and it's not doubled and it's not blistered. It looked like an ink pen mark but I'm sure it's not. I'm flustered.
You are talking about the spot under his chin ,yes? It does look like a die break. Thank you for the link. Now I just need to find out what the ghost image of Lincoln is.

That is an Indirect Image Transfer referred to as "Ghosting" and not haunted.
But that is not what you have.
Ghosting only occurs upside down. Meaning you will see a Ghost image of the Obverse on the Reverse and a Ghost image of the Reverse on the Obverse and only upside down... Not sideways as you are showing.
