Yes and no as to being common, The throws have morphed from simple items starting with strings of beads to all sorts of things, from plastic cups with the groups logo and name to limited editions ones in .999 silver. You might try Mobile AL coin shops, They are more abundant in years 1970's and newer. Also the size and number of parades and balls for Mardis Gras in Mobile would be smaller than say NOLA.
Nope to 1907 that would be the year the society was formed or reformed
If you could figure out what all the letters are That might be of some help Allthough they don't appear to be the year in roman numerals.

I want to share! These are a few of my favorite store cards and scrips. I keep coming across them as I go through all my dads stuff. I don’t think he really these much but I think they are fascinating! I know they aren’t in perfect shape and considering I found them in his basement in a box all mixed together I think they are great!

Here is an interesting two use token also a two part magnetic one 1st of its kind I have picked up.
I'm not a golfer so this is just speculation on my part the inner double sided part is about the size of some ball markers that have turned up in the bulk buys.

Since I see an old 1889 Wanamaker token up there and I picked on up recently as well, I'll show mine off as well. Only b/c I think these older ones are going up in price, especially the Wanamakers with the Indian. Plus a couple other and one very unusual one from the

Plus a Babe Ruth, I think this is my first but I could be wrong. That said, this Babe is the best in my collection. I also got another Swami, I have other Swami's so I really didn't have to buy another. Ebay's addicting, just in case you don't know it yet. :D

Ah, the Basch brothers were famous magicians back then. :) As for that piece, I don't think it is from Stockholm. All three - this one advertises Friedrich Joseph Basch; there were also Ernst and Heinrich Basch - lived and toured primarily in Northern Germany, and the text is in German ...
