1853 arrows and rays seated half dollar

I picked up 10 seated half dollars recently. The dates and conditions vary, unfortunately this one is not in the best shape but it's reverse is interesting. I know there are several DDRs for this year/mint. I'm thinking this is machine doubling but I'd like to get some other opinions. Unfortunately, I find it tough to discern between the different types of doubling and have trouble in this area. I've been trying to work on tgat. There are several interesting die breaks/cracks on the reverse though!

Something looks really odd with the obverse. Tooling comes to mind. Looks like a die crack on the reverse.

 

I hope thats not the case as far as tooling goes but I've never seen a tooled coin in hand.

 

Nice die cracks. I don't see die doubling, I see what might be some traces of either Longacre doubling or MDD.
