Small date vs large date?! HELP!

    The penny on the left is "large date" and the penny on the right is "small date"....right?!?

    Both large date. Your photos are plenty good to determine that.

    Remember folks, you heard it here first. When they make a million bucks I call dibs on a "finders fee" of 20%. Standard rate in the biz I believe.

    I think so too. The font is so much smaller than the large date! Plus the tops of all 4 are perfectly aligned, and on the large date it's not even close lol

    Sorry....I was joking with @paddyman98 ... We've seen about a million of these posts in the last few weeks it seems. Both of your coins are clearly large dates. You are not going to be rich, at least not with either of these coins.

    Your 2's are both large date 2's, see photo.
    While the 1960 SD may be actually smaller in size than the 1960 LD , I don't think the 1982 has a size difference. The shape of the 2 is the easiest way to spot small or large date 1982.

    And you've every right to do so. However, this in absolutely no way means that you're not mistaken. Both coins shown in the OP are, in fact, large dates regardless of if you wish to believe otherwise.
