Can anyone tell me what the grade on this coin mite be, and if it has any value. Any information you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
A common date even though it's an S mint mark. I'd say "good" condition as grading goes but has some nicks. A 50 cent value coin sorry to say.

Ive never cleaned it. But i did look it up and it said at lowest grades its $1.75 so thats more then the $.50 or dollar you guys want to say its worth..
Well, that difference is based on a few things: 1. You have to send it in for grading and that will cost you at least $10. 2. That's based on companies who make money by grading coins. The more their graded coins are worth, the more people will use them. It's in their interest to conflate the value. 3. It's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I'm sure the majority of CT people would not be interested in buying that coin, as we all have lots of them in likely better conditions. Just because someone says it's worth a value, doesn't mean you'll get it. You could also meet someone on the street who has no idea what that is and will pay more. Having said that, I'm very confident you won't get more than 50 cents for the coin.
People may try to sell them for $1.75, but the most it is worth is between .50-$1. Those guides are not 100% accurate, although the value of Buffs have gone up. Not too long ago that coin was 0.25- 0.50.
I concede, it could go V.G. My first look I thought incomplete rim at some points. My eyes are not what they used to be.
As other's have said, this is a fairly common date and in low grades like yours, most get dumped into the "by the roll" price. If you go to local shows or dealers, you can buy a coin like yours for 0.50-$1. If you want to sell it? Good luck getting a dealers interest. It's still worth keeping
