World Coins: Your Newest Acquisition!

I have been on a bad luck streak lately.This arrived today. It is supposed to be a Ryukyu 1/2 Shu, but does not have the サ lettering on the edge.

My first coin from Ecuador

 

That bites. Did they send you the wrong coin, or what???

 

No. I didn't think to inquire. The seller had another I was looking at and noted the edge lettering. I got this today, looked at it and realized that it was not in the listing for this item so it is at least partially my fault for not checking before I purchased.

Edit: the edge lettering was noted in the listing so now I am really not happy.

Waiting for feedback from the seller.

 

Just paid for this on ebay, seller's pix. Wonder if it is original or a later date copy?

 

First 2018 coin for me - Estonian 10 euro to celebrate the Olympic games in Pyeongchang.

I am not a big fan of Olympic coins, but that is a very creative design.

I don't collect them myself, but I have a friend who does. If he does not need this one, I will let you know.
