Love the Falcon (I'm a Ford guy.), but I'll like it better after the Eagle/Falcons game is over tomorrow. What kind of V8 is in there? My Ford experience starts with the 302. (And the 454 c.i. in a '62 Continental.)

My Pickup has a 390 at the present though i’m looking for a 460, why would you need to get better that 8 MPG? It’s a Beast!

I once saw a 1963 Thunderbird, with the same engine in it that my '62 Continental had, and the guy had a clear fuel hose in it. Frightening use rate of hydrocarbons, just sitting in a lot idling.

Hmm, an F250, huh? You ARE a coin guy, aren't you? :hilarious: You can't swing a dead cat at a Pennsylvania coin auction parking lot without hitting one of those.

Don’t want to hyjack the OP’s thread so here I’ll get it back on track. Coin with bad snaptite that I gave to my Son in 2016 thus the damage! I didn't have a proof to use. I like the looks of these Bullion coins a little better but the proofs just glow!

Who knows it could have used as a hockey puck for all I know. He is a good Guy but no brains like me!
I’ll pop it open and check the coin, we might have a handling coin! I do love to fingermark coins sometimes!

C'mon now, you know very well that the only recommended coins to use as pucks are the 5 ounce silver ATB quarters, don't you? :hilarious::hilarious::hilarious: The NCHL has so ruled. (National Coin Hockey League)

BTW @V. Kurt Bellman I just stuck that coin back in its cap it’s okay! Oh yeah and I handled it with EVERY pair of gloves I own and it didn’t slip in my hands once! Whew I was sweating bullets there! Lol.

YOU FOOL! Don't you know better than to lay an ASE on Burnt Sienna pigments?!?!? Some people! A few of those gloves resemble the cheapo ones Eastman Kodak sold.

I’m thinking the quality earth pigments I use might impart some toning element to the mix!

To me, nothing looks dumber than a very modern silver coin with excessive toning, and you can quote me on that. All it says to me is "here's a jack--- who doesn't even know the rudimentary basics of coin care". Or worse, FAR worse.

"Oh, but it's pretty!" Yeah, so are both my ex-wives, but I didn't keep THEM either.

I hear ya I’ll acetone it to be safe.
Although that color chart is about 2 years old flakes can and will happen.
I’m so lazy and cheap sometimes I didn’t want to waste a new piece of paper so I grabbed that and I didn’t flip it over! Some people’s kids!

Besides, ultramarine IS the "new black" in the silver toning world. It was all the rage during Fashion Week. So close!

That's not a Falcon... that's a rocket with feathers! Ford did make some hotrod Falcons in late '64. They're called Mustangs. Chevy had some nice little monsters too, the early Novas and Chevy IIs.
