    I think I know where this is coming from. Maybe rare was a wrong word for me to use in another thread.

    When it comes to hardest to find, it is the 1982P copper small date. Especially in high grade. Collectors have been collecting them since 1982. So now all that can be found are lower grade ones and these are even few and far between.

    I search maybe 10 rolls a month and I have stacks of all the rest. I have only found 1 1982P copper small date.

    umm I am gonna guess the one with 1. So here is my ? Was it an mint employee deal ? Or are there maybe more out there like the 1943? Not that I am looking just still learning.

    Correct. Not sure why it was a guess instead of deductive reasoning. ;)
    I have no idea how this 1 was made, but I have seen speculation that it was an incorrect planchet situation. I have no idea if there are more out there - further speculation might be informed by knowing how the 1 known one came to be.
