I'm going to go with $120.00 on this one.

 

That Franklin has some of the nicest toning I've seen on a Franklin. I could see it being a highly prized piece for a registry set, and a bidding war ensuing. Knowing (somewhat) of @ddddd 's tastes, I'm tempted to go as much as $400, but... I know he is also a sensible person to a degree, so I'll say....

Also, I've paid more then some of the guesses for an AT'd Franklin, so the NT with the star (IMO) justifies my guess. In my eyes at least!

@Beefer518 extrapolated my exact thoughts! This is one of the nicest Franklins that I have owned and the nicest that I have kept. Stars aren't as widespread on this series as on Morgans (and I have seen a couple of questionable stars on Franklins lately). Based on some of the guesses I may have overpaid, but I think this coin was worth it. The final price was $302.50.
