To bad for them they were the bullies. I beat up the bullies to protect my friends, the weird kids we called them back in 1968 or 1969 when the bullies were rampant and have always stuck up for the little guy ever since so I’m a bad bad man! Sorry I grew up in a hard scrabble blue collar area and learned how to take care of those I cared for. Would you rather I watched my friends get there lunch money taken on a daily basis? Should I have let Billy get his teeth knocked out every time the dentist had put new ones in? I’m a bad bad man.

2 things: Is it really so bad that deer (Reed) wants to help some beginners learn the hobby? I don’t think it is bad to advocate for careful handling of coins. While we may not all agree with gloves, I don’t think there is any ill intent and I applaud him for trying to advance good practice.

That being said, the tough guy “i’ll Beat you up” posturing here only makes you look insecure and does not help your argument one iota

So you like to blame the victim, not take responsibility for your own actions, and say it is a result of the way you were raised??? All in the name of advocacy for people in need????

Hey I’ll send up the white flag already if you guys think I’ve threatened anyone then I’m sorry not my intent. Trying to get people to be realistic and trying to give a little glimps into my world.
When I’m on the track and some one bumps me for position I don’t cry I bump back.

I'm so glad my thread got hijacked. At least it was in the name of education. I did learn something from my own thread. The next time I make a video, if I make one, I will add at the beginning, "Warning, what you are about to see is performed by a trained professional. If you are unsure of what you are doing, do not try this at home". And also PLEASE PLEASE watch out for that McDonalds Coffee, IT'S HOT!!! They should have a warning on the cup or something.....

I thank those of you for defending me. This thread is not a how to handle coins thread. Most everyone here know's that, but some feel that there are enough New Collectors that apparently know who I am and follow, tweet and retweet, like and # everything I do, that it will cause chaos in the collecting world. The videos I made are unlisted and only linked to this post. I will have to remember what Ben Parker told Peter, "With great power comes great responsibility". I will correct my way's and carry forward as if I am some heavily followed YouTube star with millions of views.

And for the record. I know very well how important it is to follow training. I worked in the bomb dump when I served in the Air Force. I worked with explosives everyday. We would discover boxes of crystalized dynamite, work with flare that burns so hot it would literally suck the air out of an entire room if you didn't ground yourself properly. I know about safety protocols, lord knows I heard of some scary stories when I was getting trained.

@352sdeer, I understand your point and appreciate what you were trying to do. But perhaps in the future, try to get your point across with a little more tact. I too absolutely hate the sight of finger prints on coins. I can spot them with great ease and turn everyone of them I come across down. There is nothing worse than a beautiful Morgan Dollar with spectacular color and then you spot that old finger print in the field coming across Liberty's face. The reason I don't use gloves is I have small hands. I would drop more coins by wearing gloves than I would ever put a finger print on it by not wearing gloves. I do thank you for your concern however, please carry on.

That's just too funny Justin, I was seriously thinking of making a short video handling coins after eating some buttered popcorn, maybe after eating some BBQ ribs.....but then I said to myself, "self" that wouldn't be very Christian like, think of all those Newbs who would take it literally and die and stuff.....so I put it out of my mind:facepalm: Great minds think alike!;)
