This might be a good time to slow down with the posting and do a bit more reading.

    https://www.ngccoin.com/boards/topic/383298-grading-procedures/

Justin is a professional coin photographer, and NGC -- well, I hope you know what sorts of coins NGC graders handle. If they both disagree with you, you might want to entertain the possibility that you're wrong.

I don’t care what any Grader thinks of me or my logic, they are just people!
I’m a Millwright do you really care? Graders are like millwrights just people like everybody else. 80-20 rule applies. 80% mediocre and below ones and 20% above average ones. I was always the trouble shooter so one of the 20% and have had to retrain many people, the 80%, that learned bad habits from those that didnt know the difference either. Just trying to break the chain here.

My post still stands newbs don’t need bad habits and the video LOOKS like he is touching the coin, which he said he is. That’s all good but no mention of the fact that now the coin has been contaminated by body oils. Nor any mention of how to remove the oils that he put on the coin during his video shoot were givin, implied or noted. So we are left to believe the coin is now junk?
A reasonable person should be able to see my logic. A poor Newb is going to really mess up some nice coins following that lead.[/QUOTE]

Do all PLs do that cartwheel roll? I'd suppose they would, because they're still MS. One would think the glassy surface wouldn't be doing that, but I guess the mint flow lines are still there due to that method of manufacture.

He is not touching the surface of the coin.

He is passing his thumb in front of it to show the reflective fields.

Wash hands. Handle coins by the edges. You can use gloves if you wish, but most seem to prefer the increased dexterity without. I used gloves one day experimentally. I dropped 4 or 5 coins (lower end for experiment) and found myself accidentally brushing the surfaces. Never again.

No it’s about the Newbs and making sure they get good info. And I didn’t start with the first comment about this, check post #7. I know the difference but new people don’t, think of them. We’re here to help not hinder and lack of information on a post can REALLY hinder sometime.

Yeah I know how it works but most newbies don't and we’re here to help the newbs not hinder them.
I did my job now, if any newbie reads this post they will definitely know how to handle coins!

I Did what I wanted to do and now newbs WILL know to handle coins because you and the OP have explained what needs to be known about my concerns. That’s all I wanted.

    Thank You, Reed

Just looking out for the new members. If you think that’s mean don’t hang with me or you’ll be crying by noon. When I was working with new apprentices they thought I was mean also. Poor babies can’t handle little criticism? That’s how it works in the real world. In my job if I didn’t train the new folk correctly they could have been killed within minutes of them just doing their jobs. Here is one of the behemoths I worked with now, we regularly were in the machines while they cycled. The complete line is 397 feet Long from in feed to the paletizing station. REAL IMPORTANT YOU DONT MISS ANY INSTRUCTIONS TO NEW EMPLOYEES or they start missing limbs or get pressed flat at 22,000 psi

Without the help of Reed, new collectors would be killed within minutes of handling their first coin!

i like to think so. Can’t help it, you watch someone get their arm taken off or have to clean up after someone’s head gets popped and you’d watch out for people more yourself I’ll bet!
I also helped train new racers back in the day because I don’t care how good or how long you have been riding you will crash and you need to know how to do so properly. Everybody thought my lessons were a joke until they crashed then they thanked me.

Nope just a tough old man that likes things to run smoothly and fired people that weren’t part of the program. That’s how it used to be before everyone became SO SOFT. Back in the day if you didn’t conform to the system we would BEAT it into you in the back warehouse.

    Tons of reflectivity.

    An AU coin though, IMHO.

You are handling it just fine.

If anyone gets the desire to look out for me, spare yourself.

Ooo I do so love to fight but alas about 25 years ago I had kids and had to give up my hobby beating people that deserved it in bars, parks, mall parking lots, in theaters, restaurants and sporting events. I did get to keep my hand in the game a little at work for fun over the years thought. If you’ve read any of my past posts you’ll see I’m kind of an advocate for people that need help. So if I was beating on you you deserved it! Oh i forgot to mention I grew up with bikers that will answer a few nagging questions. Reed

Someone who brags about beating people up in their past is someone to be pitied, IMO. I knew guys like that in high school and now they change jobs every year, collect food stamps, and can't stay in a steady relationship to save their lives.
