i got this 1939 dime and i want to know if this dime is like that 2 colors

Your coin is worth melt value. Not two or 3 dollars. It is worth about a dollar and twenty cents.

 

Silver is a very reactive metal. Your coin suffered environmental damage after it left the mint. It is considered damaged, which significantly reduces any numismatic value. It is not rare and, as @NLL has said, only worth silver melt value

 

What’s the difference of 80 Cents? 2 or 3 dollars is an accurate representation of its worth.

A lot of coin dealers online and at stores sell low grade mercs for $2/2.25 each. I’d buy it if I needed it.

 

we sell them for $1.65 at our shop.

 

How much would you buy them for?

 

we usually pay $1 or 10x face as we do with all junk silver
