It doesn’t take a trained eye to tell what is good and what is not good. Make all the excuses you like our new coins suck usefull air from our hobby.

Indeed, and is why the obvious lighthearted joke was a simple observation of a certain type of person. You know, kind of like this...

That’s the problem Tuck it’s not the coin design as much as it’s the artist. I mean Brenner made this face a 100 year plus coin. It takes pure talent to make that look good on a coin and still be true to life!

Yeah I looked up some of her photos cause I wondered what she looked like when she was young also. Unfortunately she didn’t weather well with time and no amount of make up can cover chronic wrinkles. My Mother in law had them, thousands of tiny to small wrinkles EVERYWHERE on her head. It was weird and her Mother’s had it also.

Sometimes it helps to also read the context of a message. ;) The first of those two posts that I made in May 2016, and that you quoted here, was a reply to Cascade's question "Did you see somewhere that it says a part of the purchase price is donated to a political organization?" My reply was not about the donation issue but an attempt at pointing out that the words "created to recognize Donald Trump's heroic presidential candidacy" might have something to do with a political issue, i.e. the campaign of one of the candidates.

The second post merely clarified that the medal was not a coin. And judging from what I have seen, when it comes to medals that support political campaigns, I do have the impression that the design is secondary in such cases. Your opinion may be a different one of course.
