    Hi all,
    Just thought I'd shine the light on a wayyyyy under appreciated emperor for a minute. I found this coin on a notorious auction site... and it reminded me of the exploits and glorious reign of Septimius Herodes!!!! Who you say?!?!? Septimius Herodes!!!!

    If you don't remember him... maybe those in the know may fill in the details of the life and adventures of this truly one of a kind emperor.

    Ps: fantasy coin of an imaginary emperor I thought was funny.

    Ha, oh wow... I just figured it was a totally made up name... it sounded dreamed up. ...if there was a any chance of it being real (nope), I’d feel pretty silly.
