Great pics. Check http://www.varietyvista.com/ http://doubleddie.com/ to see if it matches up with anything. Bookmark these sites if you continue to be interested in these types of errors. Personally, I feel if you need that much mag to see something then it's not worth anything, but to each their own. Wish you well in your search.
Truly, "seeker", people could benefit from learning your coin detail photography techniques. I've rarely seen better here.
Help yourself Kurt you deserve it. I on the other hand am the bad bad man at the moment! Lol. Back to the OP’s coin, Seriously now those are some very nice images. We usually see tunnel vision blurry, poorly lit partial images of tilted upside down coins that have no real numismatic value. You did find a nice example of a coin that exhibits the signs of the Machine Doubling effect! It’s not valuable OR rare unfortunately. Keep looking their out there these MD errors help sharpen your eye. Have fun! Reed.
Thank you for the sites! I'm on Wexler's and coppercoins hours a day but hadn't heard of variety vista

Also figured out voice control for the camera so i dont have to touch it at all. Then picked up a clip on macro lens. I'll post a pic of my setup. All my future questions are in the background, lol.
http://coinimaging.com/photography.html Here is the article I read to get tips on proper techniques. It is a little dated technology wise but it told me how to light it properly and that's where I found out I needed a macro lens.
Hey don’t spend to much it doesn’t take a lot to come up with okay images. Here’s my rinky dink set up. A broken IPhone 5 and a olloclip lense I got for free from my Daughter. It takes ok images, good enough for the site. Here are a few
